Having problems hosting images?

I browse and open it on my hard drive and click host but it pops up a new window that says says crap like
Thumbnail : [random url] {copy}
image :[random url] {copy}
Image url : etc.

then upload

and i click on upload and it goes back to the first window, without actually uploading the image. doesnt matter what image or what size i save it as. can someone help me?

Try uploading the file to a file sharing site. Just google "free image hosting" and you'll get tons of results. Copy the URL and put it in img tags. Hope I helped.

yeh i thought of that but there must be some way to straight up host an image. worst case scenario i just do that but idk ill keep trying

There might be some security exposure in BB code that doesn't allow for direct image hosting in some places. Either that, or they don't wanna dedicate their precious bandwidth to our images. lol. Yeah thats probably the case. But in any case, I'm almost 100% sure you can't directly upload photos to here for your sig or wutever.

What do you mean, "do it in forums"? I couldn't upload my sig pic from my hard drive. I had to host it. How did you do that?

i mean i cant host images in posts, as in put them in my post form my hardrive, whereas for my sig and avatar i just browsed then uploaded them and it worked.

For the record, this site has an image gallery where you CAN upload your images. They are then given a unique URL through the site that you can put in image tags. I didn't put the link in the navigation before, but it is there now.

Navigation link isn't functioning 100% correctly. Seems to be hit or miss with it today. The button up top below the banner works though.
