PS3 or Xbox 360?

Ive been wanting to get one but I can not decide. So all of you people out there with both of them please vote and then tell me why you picked your answer. Thanks alot!

They both have their disadvantages and advantages, neither one is much better than the other. Some argue that PSN is better because its free, but other says XBL is worth the $5 or so a month, with faster download speeds, more dedicated servers, etc. It really depends on:

A. What console specific games you like better
B. How much you are willing to spend
C. What previous Gen console you had, i.e. PS2 or Xbox original

Im not an Xbox Fanboy or anything i just Love halo so its an easy choice for me.
Since you are looking to buy one, do some research. Compare prices of average games, prices of consoles, and what console specific games you want the most.

Personally one thing turns me away from the x-box and one thing only:

Paying for online.

Thats the only disadvantage I can think of. But, there are more military SOCOM like and CoD like games on the PS3 than on x-box, so like he said it depends on what you like too.

So it really comes down to what you would be willing to spend more money on, the console itself or the online. The price difference of the PS3 over the XBox is enough to easily pay for live for like 2 years.

ps3 is laggier online then the xbox 360 but then its really just a personal opinion

Have you played both?? I've heard the same thing, and I've played both, but I've never played them both enough to notice a difference.

From what ive seen at friends, houses, etc download times are significantly longer for PS3, but in terms of lag there isnt a whole lot of difference, it usually comes down to the specific game

I think i would rather have a ps3 because my friends that have both say ps3's are WAY better... I really hope i get one today.. (its my birthday)
